About Laundromat 123
Laundromat 123 is the everything hub for laundromat owners. Our mission is to give working operators a single, neutral place to understand insurance, learn the trade, and compare equipment — without sales pressure, vendor spin, or jargon. The site is built and maintained by people who have spent years inside this industry, and every page is written for the operator who has to make a real decision tomorrow morning, not the brochure reader who only wants a quote.

What you’ll find here
Three operator-focused sections, each written to stand on its own. Start wherever the next decision lives.
Coverage primer
Insurance
A plain-English orientation to the coverage lines that actually matter on a laundromat policy — general liability, property, equipment breakdown, business income, EPLI, and workers comp — plus a short guide to comparing quotes without falling for the headline premium.

Education
A growing library of articles written for working operators. Insurance fundamentals, equipment trade-offs, day-to-day operations, marketing the store, and the long tail of small decisions that decide whether a laundromat is a job or an investment.

Equipment
A neutral, side-by-side look at the washer and dryer brands operators consider most often: capacity, water use, controls, warranty terms, and the kind of store each brand really fits. No affiliate links, no kickbacks — just the orientation we wish we had on day one.

Our network
A network of operators, brokers, and trade partners
Behind the hub sits a quiet network of laundromat operators, specialty insurance brokers, equipment distributors, service technicians, and consultants who have collectively run, financed, insured, repaired, or advised on hundreds of stores. We lean on that bench when a page on this site needs a sanity check, when a new article needs a primary-source quote, or when a reader sends in a question we cannot answer from one desk.
None of our partners pay for placement. Where we recommend a specialist — an insurance broker who only writes laundromats, an equipment distributor whose service network is actually responsive, a consultant who has bought and sold the kind of store you are considering — the recommendation is there because the operator community kept naming the same names. If a relationship ever generates a referral fee, we say so on the page itself, and we write the page the same either way.
The result is a small, opinionated hub that punches above its weight. The information is free, the editorial line is neutral, and the people behind it are operators first — not marketers dressed up as operators.
