Water Bill Income Analyzer

Estimate a laundromat’s wash income from its water bill. Plug in HCF used, your vend price, and the average gallons per cycle — we’ll back into a rough wash-revenue number you can compare to the seller’s claim.

Step into the formula

Run the numbers

Pull HCF (Hundred Cubic Feet) from a recent water bill. One HCF equals 748 gallons, so we multiply HCF by 748, divide by your gallons-per-cycle to estimate wash starts, then multiply by your vend price.

Total HCF on the billing period.

Vend price for a typical 20-lb load.

Manufacturer water use per wash.

Methodology

The formula behind this tool is the classic water-bill income analysis used by laundromat buyers and brokers for decades:

gallons   = HCF × 748
washes    = gallons ÷ gallons_per_cycle
income    = washes × price_per_wash
